Below is the visitor stats for www.diningincornwall.com up to 10th January. Whilst we think it is self explanatory it's probably worth pointing out the relevant information! The number circled in red is the number of unique visitors per day, don't get this confused with hits. The number of hits is something different and often used by website promoters to impress clients. The only figure that matters is the number of unique visitors which, as you can see has been rising exponentionally since the site was launched in July. Please note, we are only 10 days into January, hence the drop in the graph.
Another often used barometer of a sites success is the Alexa traffic ranking. At present we are 598,059 in the World, which is significantly higher than some of our competitors (who charge a lot, lot more!)
At this point it is probably worth mentioning that the best way to get a piece of this action is to be listed as a featured restaurant. At only £25 p/a this gives you a mention at the bottom of every page and additional features such as menus and a weblink. Having a featured listing will generate more intrest. Just look at the most popular pages on the homepage besides the obvious celebrity restaurants the top performers are all featured listings.
