    We have come to the Dolphin many times in previous years and the food and service were out of this world. Since March 2009 the place has gone down hill at a tremendous pace. I believe there has been many changes to the place, and boy dont I know it....I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt mainly because of the previous years going there, so we went there in March2010. Unfortunately it was still just as bad. We popped past in August 2010, to find that it is now completely closed. I just wish the original owners back in 2006-2008 had stayed .

    First ate here August bank holiday 2008 with my husband and was so impressed, booked again on a 2nd visit to Newquay in Oct 2008. The reataurant entrance is tucked away and can easily be missed, but once up the narrow stairway the quaint intimate restaurant and bar has a tardis like appearance. There is a varied menu for all tastes and the Food is well prepared, reasonably priced and delicious. The large portions and friendly efficient ataff, make sure you will return again and again.
