    This restaurant changed hands recently and is now known as the Quay Cafe Bar and Seafood restaurant.



    I recently had lunch there with friends



    Excellent seafood - plaice, dover sole and crab cakes with a surprisingly good, well priced French house white wine.



    Although very windy, we could still sit outside (almost) under an enclosed marquee.



    A light lunch and a drink for 2 - from about £12

    I had one of the best meals of my life (Halibut with crab and saffron mash) at the Sticky Prawn and I will be hurrying back as soon as I have a chance. The setting is unfussy and relaxed and the views are fantastic from the booth tables.

    Went to the Sticky Prawn for my husband's 60th birthday in September. The food was astronomically expensive and very disappointing. The service given was poor and the whole restaurant looked tired and a bit soiled. Wouldn't ever go there again -much better places to dine in Falmouth that cost much less.

    Its a place for people who don't really know about top class eating ; this tries to be but doesn't get there. Plastic tables that cost 3 quid a throw are not upmarket are they? This is what they have outside. Wide berth to be given.

    We ate at the Sticky Prawn in September 2006 and will not go back there again. The service was slack and rude, the food mediocre and the prices astronomical. In my opinion this place is grossly over-rated.
    To cap it all the staff were spraying cleaning liquid on the tables around us while we were still eating! Not exactly the service one expects for the prices!
