Having been twice last year we booked to go again this holiday. Food still good, fabulous Montagny Premier Cru and a lovely pudding, but essentially the menu hasn't changed; I guess catering for visitors it doesn't have to? Service is on a table by table basis so you can wait a long time for a drink or to place an order. Waitress wasn't brilliant and said the table we asked for had been specially reserved but it obviously hadn't.Still haven't had a meal cooked by the owner but the deputy is OK. I come from Birmingham but in this tiny restaurant the noisy Brummie woman seated in the window was a pain!

We had lunch in Port Isaac at The Harbour Restaurant today (23/03/08) and were totally blown away by the quality of the food on offer! At last, Cornwall has a new outstandingly good restaurant that you should definitely put on your shortlist.
Located in a unique 15th century building and providing really good food and wine for under £30 a head. It has the feel of a wonderful French bistro, with a friendly, cosy, seaside atmosphere and informal feel. Choices for everyone, including vegetarians, and everything is freshly cooked from scratch, from the homemade cakes & pastries to the dressings & sauces.
With ingredients sourced from trusted local producers, almost everything she uses has been grown, caught or reared in Cornwall. Seafood is landed, literally, on the doorstep. Cornish cheeses, the best of the season’s vegetables, and meat from nearby farms are all transformed into a contemporary menu with French, British and Italian influences. 10/10
