The Ganges youd be better off downing a bucket of the real thing.

Ganges served up what is, without a doubt, the worst curry Ive ever had in my life.

Aloo Gobi... old, waxy potato, cauliflower was frozen and tasteless and the dish was exceptionally oily. Sag Daal... Made from frozen spinach, pureed to within an inch of existance, again VERY oily and very very runny for a daal.

Bindi... Chopped to mush and no bite to the okra at all - an utter waste of the beautiful vegetable! This is normally one of my most favourite dishes. As it stands, this had very little flavour or seasoning and it was bathed in LOTS of oil.

Brinjal... Again, virtually flavourless, the aubergine had sponged up all of the oil it was sitting in so that it just oozed into my mouth when I took a bite.

Paratha... thick as a pizza crust and cooked in old, cheesy ghee.

On top of all of this, I ordered a lassi to drink. It arrived CURDLED and very, very sour. I complained and had it replaced with a warm pineapple juice.

We were very, very hungry but couldnt eat more than a couple of spoonfuls of the whole meal. Even the £23 that it cost us feels like an absolute blind rip off.

I can not discourage you from visiting this restaurant enough. Environmental health should be involved.
