The Boatshed review
Myself and my partner come her a lot, whether we are on our own or with friends. The food is of a very good standard and the service is relaxed and friendly, which is all you want in a restaurant. If you are looking for fine dining food and service then it's not your place, however!! If your looking for really good food with lots of local produce, a good choice of menu and a friendly service then this is the place. As a local I know that once upon a time it was a old wharf side building pulled in all the goods shipped in from sea, and with no road out the front, the ship unloaded next to the granite building. The restaurant keeps in touch with the history which I find unique and quirky. -

The Boatshed review
Visited 'The Boatshed' after a day trip to St. Mary's Isles of Scilly. Largely overlooked by our fellow travellers the restaurant offered good food at a reasonable price with a good choice of wines and desserts. I had spicy Carrot and Ginger soup followed by Lemon Chicken Breast with Ratatouille and new potatoes whilst my partner had Newlyn Pilchards followed by Red Thai Curry.
The service was efficient if just a little pushy but the ambiance was good. An excellent place to stop for a nice meal and literally just a few yards from the pier.
I expect we will go again.
