I went here whilst killing time in Truro. First impressions were that it was quite an impressive space, possibly with pretentions above its station!
On closer inspection everything was just as it was supposed to be, but not in a particularly good way. All the same fittings and bits of art straight from the 'modern fashionable bar/restaurant' catalogue.

Anyway, this theme was pretty much continued through the menu. The fact that the restaurant lables itself as fusion should give an idea.

That said, some of the food isn't actually that bad.

I had a curry box which wasn't that great. It wasn't a patch on what you'd get in your average take-away and was hard work to eat out of its trendy little compartmented box.
The other food I tried on the table was actually much better, albeit a little overpriced.

The coffee was fine and the restaurant is in a good spot especially on a sunny day if you can get a seat outside. On the whole though I thought the place was a bit passe and style over content

When it opened it was the most amazing restaurant. Now - dont bother - completely different. Thai fish cakes had texture of rubber ball and the food was at the best flavourles and didnt even resembled the previous food. What a rip off.

I started with a very pleasant sushi and sashima. The main course was sea bass, served on a bed of mashed potato with crab. The grren chilli sauce didn't overwhelm the other flavours but complemented them nicely. Various stir fried vegetables accompanied this dish.

The desert was a little disappointing. The exotic fruit brulee was not a classic creme brulee, but more like creme caramel with a caramel topping. the exotic fruit was rather unripe. However, it was still quite a pleasant dessert.

My espresso coffee was excellent. i was impressed by the friendly and efficient service and also by the attractive presentation of all the dishes. This is a restaurant to which I intend to return.
