After checking out their menu online we decided we would stop for breakfast on our way to Plymouth-what a disappointment!

The menu promised so much yet the food&drink; were very below average (watered down orange juice and 'fizzing' fruit salad for example) and made worse by the loud conversation of the staff just a few feet away who clearly felt we needed to be entertained by stories of their weekend exploits.

Route 38- my advice: keep on driving.

A novelty diner, I wouldn't call this place a restaurant. The guy who served us was friendly and the food came out in good time, however the food was poor, so much so that our plates went back with only the meat partially eaten. For starters we had potato skins which were ok but smothered in cheese and very greasy, for main course we had rib combo's. the ribs themselves were very nicely cooked and tender, however they were smothered in a very salty BBQ sauce which overpowered everything else, the wedges were deep fried and full of oil, the onion rings were soggy and tasted like average onion rings from a bag at iceland, the corn on the cob tasted weird and not like corn on the cob at all and the chicken wings that came with the rib combo were tasteless. we may have been unlucky as it was a sunday evening and there were only 2 other tables of people eating but we certainly won't be going back.
