Not sure if we picked a bad night but the service was terrible. Lift broken had to carry pushchair upstairs okay no-ones fault but this was just the start.
Had to ask 3 times for a highchair.
Was told soup of day was leek and potato when it arrived it was a very hot/spicy curry flavour and not suitable for my grandparents.
Asked for water again 3 times despite it being offered when order was taken.

Chicken was ordered and was told none left this happened again with the liquor coffees ordered then told no baileys seems no communication between bar/kitchen/waiting staff.
When food came out things missing eg my seafood came with bread had to ask for this. Then same again with the mains missing veg/fries got so fed up with having to ask for things.
There was a youngish waiter who was fantastic who seemed to be running around picking up the pieces of the lanky manager who seemed to lack any customer skills whatsoever.
The food was good and such a shame front of house were so bad.
The bill came and was all wrong was over charged by £30 this just finished off an evening that was meant to be a special night for family.
Have heard Rick stien has bought the place so i'd wait until this happens before venturing again!!

Had Sunday lunch here during last summer. Party of seven. Fantastic location but make sure you get table by window or even out on balcony if possible.Roast dinner of Cornish sirloin was excellent and carved directly from joint. Jugs of Pimms to round off. Price pretty reasonable at £120 for seven. Not tried out of season but worth going for the view
