Bluetomato cafe review
I gave this "cafe" two chances, after all everybody can have an off night.
The first night the food was indifferent, but highly priced. The second night the food was worse.
Service was good, but as I know Cornwall, the people who run these places rely on paying minimum wage, but demand ritz quality from their employees. I even heard the "Chef" commenting to a waitress, "if you don't like it there's plenty more where you came from sweety".
If you're coming to places like Polzeath, Rock, Padstow, drive five miles out, find a nice pub or a nice fish and chip shop and you'll get better food, value and you'll find the service is usually just as good. -

Bluetomato cafe review
We visited for lunch in April and were very disappointed with the level of service. The cultery and glasses were dirty and the staff lacked any real direction. We ordered fish and chips for 2 adults and our two children but were given only adult portions and nothing for the kids. To be fair the fish was adequate but they also need to pay attention to the customer service and cleanliness - the glasses were all dirty (lipstick and black bits). The overall impression was of a rather unclean and badly managed restaurant .
