Very pleasant atmosphere and warm, friendly staff.Brilliant for bacon sandwiches and an excellent champagne breakfast on offer. Convenient for visits to art galleries like PZAG and the Contemporary Gallery -and the new Exchange, when it opens. Also there are the nearby bookshops of Chapel Street.

The newly refurbished Mackerel Sky is now set on 2 floors so space is no longer a problem.
Good coffees and still the best all day breakfast in town. One complaint is their veggie sausages - they are those kind of oblong vegetable fritter type things - fake sausages please!
