AA 3 star and 1 Rosette for food excellence. Hotel & Restaurant set in over 4 acres of lanscaped gardens. Local produce, cooked simply and bursting with flavour. Excellent value at £25 for 3 courses

Trelaske Hotel & Restaurant review

This small 3 star hotel is set in beautiful grounds, surrounded by rolling countryside. It has a very relaxing feel, with its log fires and comfy sofas. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and equipped to a high standard. Ours even had a jacuzzi bath tub!
One big surprise was the food. Just £25 for a 3 course dinner that was absolutely superb. Not only was it beautifully presented, it also tasted fantastic. They also have a wide range of good quality wines to compliment the food, grow a range of fruit, vegetables and herbs on site and use local, ethical suppliers for their meat and fish. They have recently been awarded an AA Rosette for Food Excellence and I dont think it will be long before they get another one!
I will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
