I recently visited this pleasant Bistro with my family for an evening meal. The choice of starters covered all our tastes. From soup, pate and prawns through to local mussels, grilled Cornish goats cheese and even whole red mullet. The wide variety of main courses was equally pleasant. My choice of the Duck breast was cooked to perfection and Mrs D's Grilled Salmon fillet was also very much to her liking. The smaller members of the ‘D’ family enjoyed a Bistro Burger and a portion of home cooked ribs with a delicious BBQ sauce, all of which arrived with a short wait but nothing that was overly long. (“well it is prepared fresh”) The wide selection of vegetables, potatoes and salad that accompanied our meals was almost too much to handle but we managed to do the chef justice by trying it all. The service was excellent despite being busy, with just the right amount of attention from a friendly staff. At no point did we feel rushed to leave the relaxed atmosphere and I will definitely be visiting again, this time to taste the large plate full of Mixed Grill I noticed coming out of the kitchen. The bill was not forced upon us but was presented when I was ready, and considering the excellent meal and service I was thoroughly pleased with the amount. (Good value for money for a family of four) Heading back home soon I only wished we’d found this place earlier on our visit. ‘Keep up the good work Mark’

This is the first time that me and my wife have visited the short shirt bistro, a new venture located at the trago mills end of Falmouth, I am happy to report that we will be visiting again.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely sunday roast, we both opted for the beef but there was a turkey option available. The meal was very tasty and the servings were plesantly generous. Acompnying the beef were roast potatos, carrotts, stewed cabbage, peas with sweetcorn and a giant yorkshire pud. All very tasty i must add!

The service was friendly and the meal was served in good time. The restaurant is in a pleasant location and the mood was relaxed.
