Went for an evening meal on 110408. Found a pleasant vibrant atmosphere inside. The food and drinks were expensive for the standard I received e.g my starter which consisted of approx 6 thin slices of tomato & 3 slices of mozarella cheese cost £6. Bread was extra - £3 for 2 slices. A small glass (175ml) of shiraz cost £5.
Was ill all night - will not return!!

We had a really great lunch here a couple of weeks ago. According to our waitress the place has been completely transformed recently- and it certainly shows. There are a lot more tables and they have cleverly created a lot of alternative places to sit. I had a great minute steak- really simple but well cooked and delicious, my wife chose a kebab which she thoroughly enjoyed. All in all great atmosphere, smashing food and tons of room!

Admittedly this was a lunch for a large party of people, but I found it very disappointing. The garlic mushrooms were all right but reminiscent of something from around 30 years ago, along with chicken in the basket and scampi and chips. It was pub grub without an edge. The crumble was unsubtle but plentiful. Coffee was good. The venue is pleasant but not an ideal place for a large gathering where people want to circulate. At least it was fairly cheap.
