Went to the Sticky Prawn for my husband's 60th birthday in September. The food was astronomically expensive and very disappointing. The service given was poor and the whole restaurant looked tired and a bit soiled. Wouldn't ever go there again -much better places to dine in Falmouth that cost much less.

Its a place for people who don't really know about top class eating ; this tries to be but doesn't get there. Plastic tables that cost 3 quid a throw are not upmarket are they? This is what they have outside. Wide berth to be given.

We ate at the Sticky Prawn in September 2006 and will not go back there again. The service was slack and rude, the food mediocre and the prices astronomical. In my opinion this place is grossly over-rated.
To cap it all the staff were spraying cleaning liquid on the tables around us while we were still eating! Not exactly the service one expects for the prices!

We ate at the Sticky Prawn with family on a Saturday lunchtime and whilst the food was fine the waiter was very rude. Wouldn't hurry to dine their again. There are plenty of other places with equally good settings, better food and service to match.

Four of us went to the Sticky Prawn for a special birthday lunch in June 2006 (and had three very enjoyable courses). The service was friendly and efficient, and the food excellent - particularly the fresh local fish.
The setting is simple and unfussy, with an unpretentious but good menu.

We went to the Sticky Prawn over Easter 2006 with another couple. The service was very bad, the owner was very unfriendly and the whole atmosphere was very uncomfortable. The food wasn't bad but very over priced.
